Meet the Team

Sarah Vogt, MS, CCC-SLP

Sarah graduated with her undergraduate degree in Speech & Hearing Sciences from the University of Illinois and her Masters in Speech, Language, and Learning from Northwestern University. Sarah has continued her education through the following additional coursework: SOS Approach to Feeding, Palin PCI Stuttering, Jaw Stability & Speech Clarity, Natural Language Acquisition in Autism, Meaningful Speech - Gestalt Language Processing, and the Sensory Motor approach to feeding. Sarah values the importance of continuous growth and learning.

Sarah is passionate about neurodiversity affirming speech therapy. She values each child’s learning style and interests. She believes children learn and develop best when they are allowed to be fully themselves.

Kona

Kona is Sunnyside’s therapy dog. He previously worked in a therapy clinic with Sarah at one of her previous jobs. Kona has gone through extensive training to be able to work with kids. Kona is available to participate in sessions upon request.
